It covered a wound that would leave a scar. At least twenty freckles wiped out in its wake. Pinpricks of grief sparkled through Katsuki for each missing freckle.

Summary
Katsuki had barely accepted that Eijirou was standing in front of him at all, but now that Eijirou was back in Japan touring apartments with Katsuki, they finally had the privilege of looking into the future. As Eijirou paced around the empty bedroom dressed in jeans, a muscle tank, and the warm afternoon light that had fallen over him, Katsuki saw him in his entirety. Shadows emphasized each muscle, freckle, hair until Katsuki was looking in a kaleidoscope. A cut-together sample of everything he loved about Eijirou.
“Tsuki, what do you think? I think the carpet is nice. It’s super soft like-”
And Katsuki’s phone rang. Ever since he became a teacher, his phone was always ringing. It was Aizawa calling. Eijirou squeezed his arm and let Katsuki step just outside the room to answer the call. “What d’ya need, old man?”
The phone never gave him good news.

Izuku shoved the phone back into his pocket and began to run out. “The other new teacher should be here any minute! Text me if you have any questions! I’ll see you later!”
“Wait, Deku!” The door shut, making Katsuki’s mouth snap closed. He wasn’t the only newbie. He put his head in his hands and tried to contain the uncertainty bubbling in him.
“Bakugou?” A voice called across the room.
Katsuki knew that voice in an instant. “Kirishima?” He asked the question before he even turned around to look at Kirishima. He looked exactly like he did the last time that Katsuki saw him, except that he had aged like a fine wine. He still had that red spiky hair and the same stupid, shirtless hero costume. Katsuki couldn't even remember the last time they were in a room together. What was that? Seven– no eight years ago?

Fuck. At this point Katsuki’s heart was beating so loud it was all he could feel and hear. An all-consuming rhythm, shaking his body. There was the smallest chance that Kirishima was holding the same words on his tongue that Katsuki had been tasting for months. I like you. I want you. I need you. Something was fluttering in Katsuki’s chest. It was almost nostalgic to feel it. Hope.

“I know. The Onigiri place. No fucking way.” Katsuki turned to the sidewalk in front of him as he spoke his next words. “We don’t need to get takeout again, Ei. Be fucking happy that I want to cook for yo–.” When he looked up, he saw a row of reporters less than a foot away from him with microphones in front of his face. They had definitely heard that. Katsuki wished that he was dead. He wished the reporters were dead, too.

“Bakugou sent you to ask me to date him?” Kirishima asks, baffled.
“Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.

Summary
Almost half an hour has passed, and Kirishima and Bakugou still haven’t come back. Bakugou may be fine running on fumes, and could probably blast his way through the second part of the exam on pure willpower and stubbornness. But Kirishima should probably eat, and relax for at least a bit.
Kaminari is such a good friend. He hopes Kirishima appreciates him properly. He gets to his feet and wanders out into the hall, looking for a glimpse of Bakugou or Kirishima.
He sees— well. It’s more than a glimpse. And at first, Kaminari doesn’t quite believe it.
