Summary
Set just prior to the events of Ocarina of Time, this fiction serves to reveal the back-story of Telma: a significant supporting character in the War of Imprisonment series, and to reveal hidden clues about the Gerudo themselves; in this time period.
It is a very sad story: How a little girl is cast off from her tribe in a desperate attempt by her mother to save her life. She struggles in the unknown world of the Hylians against suspicion, bigotry, and shame. But in the end, she may find happiness in her adopted home.

Summary

Book 3 of The War of Imprisonment Series
The Darkness has come. Despite all of Link's successes, the overwhelming tide of Ganon's army has been set loose.
After the terrifying message at the lakeside, Ganon's army slams into the Hylian defenses - crushing them back and trapping them inside their refuge at Laketown.
Cutoff from Kakariko or any other outside help, the Hylians begin to wither and starve as autumn turns to winter.
Link's squire-ship is temporarily suspended as all able bodied men are needed at the front.

Summary
This series seeks to detail the events that occurred during Ocarina of Time that lead to the creation of the first timeline split, what our characters did afterward (in the earliest stages of the Downfall Timeline) and how this branch eventually leads to A Link to the Past.
Every reasonable effort has been made to accommodate Nintendo Canon - only bending lore where absolutely needed, and even then, only when details were ambiguous or unclear.
If you enjoy those long-form, grand adventure stories: Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, etc - then this would be your type.
