    Summary

“To live in this world you must be able to do three things: To love what is mortal; To hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, To let it go.” (Mary Oliver)

Tavi grew up on a small, rural farm in the Tevinter Imperium. He and his family laboured for their daily bread; spent holy days at the local temple; and enjoyed the fruits of the seasons, living humbly but happily in their slice of paradise.

Then, a magister came through their little village. In his wake, he wrought upon Tavi's world a wave of misery worse than any blight.

Fifteen years pass. Octavian has clawed his way from the hellish imprisonment that had been thrust upon him, far colder a man than he had been when he first saw the walls of a cell. Imbued with vengeful purpose, he plans to seek justice for the wrongs committed against him: and if justice cannot satisfy him, he will settle for blood.

(Covers Tevinter Nights, Veilguard, and an epilogue.)

    Summary

A year drowning in the neverending nightmare. A demon twisting his insides, scraping his skull raw. Bloody fingers touching, twisting, pulling, until nothing of him remained. A year of crushed hopes and shattered dreams.

And two Tevinter mages that came to pull him out. One human. One Qunari. Both strangely helpful in a place that should have been his tomb.

Lucanis didn't even know how this was his life anymore.

    Summary

When Ari Trevelyan (M.Tav) wakes with a new wriggling bestie in his head, it's really a lot less alarming than it should be. He's used to constantly feeling like he's on the verge of losing all control and dying dramatically in a gory explosion. When neither your past OR your future feel safe from the fire in your veins, you tend to turn into a self-destructive flirt with no real direction. Life loses its charms.

Lucky for Ari, Astarion has enough charm to fell mountains and redirect rivers. And lucky for Astarion, a beautiful, self-destructive flirt with no real direction AND powerful magic is exactly the type of person he wants wrapped around his finger. Or...the rest of him, too? Why does Astarion like this delightfully deadly, deranged wild shape so much? And why does it feel like his wild shape's peculiar eyes can see right through him? Like their agonies echo each other in the dark?

In which two survivors find each other and begin to heal.
    Both M.Tav and Astarion POV.
READ IF YOU: wanted to drape Tav's cloak over Astarion's shaking shoulders, enjoy deeply emotional writing, and love consent/emotional intimacy in your smut ♡

    Summary

    “What’s he like? The Herald.”

Cullen’s mind flickered through the moments—Samhal, bloodied and terrified before the rift, haughty and imperious as he walked though the wondering crowd. Crude and harshly sarcastic, coy and suggestive, bitter and elaborately disinterested. Reports, unbelievable but later confirmed, of acts of bizarre bravery and apparent foolhardiness.

Samhal, cowering on his tent floor, battered and pleading. And now, traveling beside him as though it had never happened.

He realized that he had been silent for too long.

    “I…really could not say.”

A canon-divergent take on the story of Inquisition featuring characters from all three games and one very reluctant Herald.

    Summary

"Here lay the world in tatters and ruins, littered with the remains of once mighty armies and terrible cities. Brought to its knees by the Dread Wolf. The Dread Wolf who was all pride and no wisdom, all guilt and no atonement."

    ---

Inquisitor Lavellan saved the world, lost the world, then saved it again - loved and lost, loved and lost. Cruel joke upon cruel joke piled atop each other under the disguise of destiny and fate, until the curtains fell on him and Solas with their blades piercing the other's heart. It was a disgustingly poetic end.

And because his luck was rotten, he wakes at the moment before it all began.

A second chance or a second doom? Lavellan wasn't sure which he preferred.

    ---

"Uncover the past, little raven, the Wolf is not the liar here. Those who walk the shadows never leave."
