A little oneshot about Azula seeing Aang with hair for the first time, and feeling...confused. Is it a good confused or a bad one? Read to find out.

Summary
Aang stumbles upon Azula living alone in the forest after the events of "The Search". Unknown to them that meeting was exactly what they both needed. For one of them it's a get away and for the other it's to not be alone anymore.
(I hate that this ship is still so lowkey, we really need to change that.)

"We are not threatening him," the High Sage countered smoothly. "We are offering the only legal salvation that prevents a civil war. To legitimize the child, to stabilize the throne... you will marry Princess Azula. Immediately."
The room went dead silent.

Summary
"The Air Council is foolish," Ozai instructed, stepping down from the dais. "They believe they are taking you as a royal hostage, a legal bargaining chip to keep my armies at bay while they secretly prepare a preemptive strike of their own. Let them believe they hold the leash. But your true mission is the Avatar himself. Seduce him. Break his ascetic conditioning. Corrupt him to our side, or at the very least, keep him so utterly distracted that he does not see the knife until it is already at his throat. Can you do this, Princess?"
"I am a daughter of the Fire Nation, Firelord," Azula said, her chin lifting. "I will bind the Avatar to my will. He will forget the wind and only know fire."

Summary
He failed. The war was supposed to end on the Day of the Black Sun… but he failed. He failed his friends, his team, everyone, and the whole world.
Sleep never comes, his thoughts keep him awake as the weight of his failure bears down on him, suffocating even within the Western Air Temple’s refuge. And when he finds himself on the shores below the temple one night, desperate for air and silence, something pulls him from his melancholy.
A rowboat? Out here?
Were they discovered? Tracked? Who would end up aground in a place like this?
-----
She tried to kill him once, and for a moment, she did.
Unlike her pathetic brother, she was always smarter, more cunning, the prodigal child their father wanted. And yet, even after her nation’s victory on the Day of the Black Sun, the Crown Princess is broken, clinging to life by sheer will and the skin of her teeth.
The last thing she remembers is reaching shore… somewhere… escaping that bastard Earth Kingdom general’s stronghold with everything she had left.
Far from her fleet, far from her subordinates, she knows her chances of survival are slim.
Still, a small part of her prays, hopes even, that maybe, just maybe…

Summary
At the back of the crowd, Aang swears that he sees her. Azula: relaxed, curious. Normal. He almost doesn't recognize her. She blended into the rest of the citizens seamlessly, and as quickly as he recognized her, she faded away. Aang had to see what she was up to. He could've never imagined Azula that peaceful if he tried.
With the ten year anniversary of Sozin's Comet approaching, it was true that Aang had been thinking about her more often. Maybe that's why he thought he saw her. Maybe that's why he had to follow her, see what she was up to... or who she was now. Or maybe he just needed to think about anything other than his wife and infant son. Aang ran away from his guilt and towards the mysterious woman in the crowd.
He couldn't have known how entirely they would save each other.

Summary
Seven years after the end of the Hundred Year War, the world is rebuilding under fragile peace. Aang has devoted himself to restoring the Air Nation, forming a growing society of air acolytes—descendants of hidden survivors and those spiritually aligned with airbending traditions, including Ty Lee.
Zuko and Katara are married, ruling the Fire Nation together. While deeply in love, Katara occasionally struggles with possessiveness and resentment toward past trauma, especially with Aang. She is secretly one month pregnant, a truth she hides even from Zuko.
Azula, imprisoned for war crimes and years of instability, is granted early release under a global political deal. Instead of execution or continued confinement in the Fire Nation, she is transferred to the Air Nation under Aang’s direct custody—both as reparations for the war and as a chance at personal rehabilitation. Aang alone visited her consistently during her imprisonment, earning her attachment and—unspoken—romantic, almost submissive affection. She acts composed and cutting around others, but crumbles emotionally under Aang’s attention.
