What if Avid's infection was something not quite demonic?
The woods were simultaneously too loud and too quiet, lacking the usual sounds of crickets chirping and owls hooting, yet the two of them kept hearing the sounds of wolves howling in the distance, the direction undiscernable, and Avid swore he could hear quiet whispers and voices calling to him in the back of his mind. Elle had laughed and told him to stop being a scaredy-cat.

Summary
Pyro does a bad thing. Pyro proceeds to have a very bad time.
He feels that ever-hungry voice in the back of his mind rearing its ugly head, calling and crying for retribution, for power, for control, and he can’t help but let it win. He feels himself bite down onto Avid’s partially exposed neck, yanking his shirt and cape down for easier access, and he drinks. Were he looking at Owen, paying attention to him, he would’ve seen an expression of concern and almost panic, but his focus rested solely on the thick, rich vampiric vitae flowing down his throat. Owen attempts to reach out, to pull him away from the paralyzed man, but the guttural growl that escapes him quickly puts an end to that. It tastes odd, almost the slightest bit bitter, but that certainly doesn’t stop him.

Summary
Many people have taken some scenes in Avid’s latest episode to mean that he’s turning into a vampire. I’ve gone a different direction.
Avid remembers the day so clearly. The two of them had finally captured their first vampire, some feral thing hiding in an abandoned cabin and eating lost travellers, and they had put a stake through its heart. He remembers the smile on her face, so proud as she held her prize, the paralyzed monster, remembered all the different ideas that ran through his head at what experiments they could run.
Now soon to have chapters of Avid getting blood from all the different vampires!

Summary
We all saw how Pyro’s demeanour towards Scott shifted as this latest episode went on, but what if it was of a more… unnatural nature?
Even though he knew it would happen at some point or another, Pyro still could not shake the fear filling him as he stood in front of his sire. The man who had killed him, made him this, a monster, now standing there with a devilish grin on his face, just a tad too sharp to be human.
