He does all of this while maintaining his adorable demeanor… usually. There were a few times that this timid croissant let his looks slip, and it wasn’t in front of an enemy. I like to call them Tophet Days.

i think the idea that youre so close to someone you cant help but empathize with them, reflexively find ways to help them, is really sweet. i like the idea that he wasnt even trying to do it, but couldnt help but to imagine a world where jack had no one to talk to, and couldnt help but to get upset by it.
