“Have a look around.” coaxed Cid, stepping a half foot closer to Clive. His body seemed to take a mind of his own, turning towards Cid as the other inched closer, breath caught in his chest. Not so gentle as a flower turned to the sun, but like a leaf ripped from the trees into a storm. Powerless to resist the pull as Cid loomed over him.
“I’ll be in my solar.”

Cid made a convincing story. Solving mysteries, saving dominants and bearers, living a free life, wanting to ‘help’. Pretty words from a pretty man, but Clive had heard it all before. Possible or not, it wasn’t what he was interested in either way.

Summary
Cid gave a little ‘oomph’ as Clive collided with his back, armoured arms wrapping around his waist and clinging. This also wasn’t new, and Cid smothered what was probably a goofy grin as Clive nuzzled into the back of his neck and let out a big sigh.
“Long trip love?” Cid asked lightly, patting the arms around him.
Clive grunted, tightening his hold and offered nothing else.

Summary
The sensation of the other’s warm breath puffing against his sensitive skin had Clive shivering, trying not to move too much. Not that he could anyway.
Giving an experimental wriggle, Clive snorted softly into the hair his face was pressed to as on queue Cid grumbled in his sleep and tightened his grip.

Oscar tipped his head, giving Ozpin a wide grin. Ozpin raised his eyebrow, leaning forward to indicate his attention. Oscar held his hands up, wiggling his fingers “Late night Maccas run” he said, voice hushed like it was a mystical oath.Ozpin groaned, standing up straight.

Summary
Wei Ying cries out as he’s thrown to the ground like a ragdoll. His head smacks on the rocks, and static colour swarms his blurry, darkening vision. He arches for the breath that was punched out of him, but a weighty claw settles on his chest, slamming him back down, and he heaves short gasps as he’s crushed, trying and failing to push the beast off. It’s like striking a wall.
And then, pain. Pain, nothing like it.
Teeth sink into his arm, and he screams as he feels his tattered bones, shattered, unhealed from the fall , grind together like gravel.

But how was that possible? The Mor’du goes after non-cultivators and the weak. Arguably, Jiang Yanli was the weakest of the crowd. It should have gone for her; instead, it attacked Wei Wuxian.Wei Wuxian, who is supposed to be the strongest cultivator on the mountain.
Or: A big mean monster attacks Wei Ying, and secrets emerge.

Lan Qiren sputters and turns a livid eye towards his nephew. “Oh?” the doctor interjects before the vein on the other’s temple bulges too much, “And what does Wei Wuxian do with his collection of herbs?”
“Cooking,” Lan Wangji responds placidly, though Lan Sizhui notices a tug of his lips upward. “Crude medicines from the roots for emergencies. He also enjoys a bolder flavor that the Cloud Recesses does not supply.”
“Yeah, Wei-qianbei isn’t trying to overthrow the Lan sect gardeners or anything. He just uses his spices to make us sweat or to make tea for Sizhui,” Lan Jingyi adds defensively.
Or, 5 times Wei Wuxian helps his favorite juniors with the power of spice, and 1 time they helped him back.

"She's fine, Ed, she's safe," Holga said, pushing the feverish bard back into the bed, and winced at the heat beneath her palms. "Now stay down, alright?"

What bothers Edgin is that the guy is touchy. He knew that, of course, knew it from those first five minutes when the guy touched that gross fish-thing and then the Tabaxi cub and then the beggar. Xenk can’t keep his hands off people.
“I don’t get it.”
“If you’d stop interrupting, I’d say— fuck, I forget. No, wait, here. I was gonna say… And here’s the crux of it: Edgin wanted Xenk to touch him.”
“Ew.”(Or: Xenk touches everyone except Edgin, and it's only a little bit frustrating.)
