Summary
What it says on the tin, basically! Oro adopts Lost Kin. Includes: fights to eat food, trying to sit still, writing lessons, nail lessons, bubbles, gambling (Oro literally teaches Lost Kin to gamble), honey, and lots of cuddles and hugs. This is a parent-raising-a-child story, and everything in this story is gen. It's about familial relationships and love, so all intimacy is familial and platonic in nature.
I PROMISE that, while there is sadness and tragedy, there WILL be a happy ending! I couldn't emotionally handle it myself, so while I love writing hurt, there will always be comfort and fluff to follow. :)
(I recommend obtaining the Dream No More ending before reading this in order to avoid any unwanted spoilers. Chapter one does have an on-screen suicide, but you can skip that by jumping to the end of the Hollow Knight poem.)
Misc Notes:
*Lost Kin is the main character, but they do not have a name for its majority. Most, if not all 'they/thems' refer to, well, them. :)
*The watchful one is Ghost/The Knight, who we play as in game

Summary
After moving away from Faraway, Sunny learns what it feels like to heal. Old untreated wounds he’d ignored for so long had come crawling back to him like the shadows that danced the walls of his room, begging for his attention. And when his concerned friends had confronted him, he was given an ultimatum: swallow the bitter medicine or spit it back out.
Beautiful flowers and meadows can burn in unfortunate accidents, ash being the one thing left in its wake. That ash, no matter how hard one barters, can’t be turned back to what it once proudly was. It’s hard to accept that some things just can’t be saved. But perhaps… perhaps they can be. If one clings to hope, a bright phoenix has the chance of rising from what was once ruined.
In spite of everything, Sunny swallows the medicine.
(Basically Sunny gets diagnosed with schizophrenia and has to learn how to cope with it. He revisits his small suburb town for spring break to surprise his friends. He hopes he can make up for all the memories he missed out on, and intends to mend what he’s left broken. Post-Good Ending.)

Summary
The Greenpath Vessel escapes the abyss, and with the help of their sibling, makes it to Greenpath. Unfortunately, life isn't easy for them — they aren't a fighter. Thankfully, the world isn't devoid of friendly faces.

Summary
Another "Oro adopts Lost" fic, yay! Not in same universe as Stay and Be Safe, but if you like that story you'll probably like this one, too. It's a lot more antagonistic and I'd say leans more on the comedic side of things.
I don't know how to summarize this fic other than, "I wrote it when I was angry/annoyed/upset and it shows" lol. Oro sees Lost being a menace to society and asks, "is anyone going to adopt this kid?" without waiting for a reply.
