He learns when he gets back that Banana Apple does NOT know what 'small' means. And they also have very different definitions of what a 'party' entails.

Making my belief that this Armageddon had no rhyme or reason obsolete, I, Chief Pre-Apocalypse Archivist Eight of Spades, have both found and deciphered documentation of days before this...hellish collapse, in a place seemingly disconnected from the rest of what was our great society. According to what I found, we are to blame a manipulative powerhouse of innovation, for tricking a young woman into making a mass weapon of destruction...
Cheesy and Trophy, who had begun a surprisingly positive friendship and fell in love soon after, one day decided to unite their hearts in a beautiful wedding ceremony. While most everyone was happy for them, Trophy's self-proclaimed nemesis, Knife, was more bitter than ever, even with his friends Pickles and Tissues (somehow) trying to cheer him up. Unbeknownst to any of them, as well as anyone outside of MePhone4's little piece of the world, this day of great happiness would soon be followed by the worst cataclysmic (and object made) event to ever strike Inanimate Island.
...But for now, all eyes are turned to the always ethereal sky, and the stars themselves are no wiser of the end.
