“Do you know how to work the coffee pot?” Ramonde asked as he sat at the kitchen table, tugging the cardigan around himself. He knew the wolf, pregnant or not, wouldn’t have made any for himself, but wasn't sure if Emory had ever paid attention to when it had been used.
However, Emory knew the human's patterns just enough in the roughly two weeks he'd been in Ramonde's care. He hadn't needed anymore context. “You should probably stick to water, if being hungover is as bad as you said.”
“It would really help me wake up. Totally fine if you don't know, because I can just make my ow–”
“Water, Ramonde.” It was a tone of finality that Ramonde had never heard from Emory. If the voice hadn't been enough to make him shrink, the way his lavender eyes were mere slits when he turned to stare back certainly was.

Hua Cheng’s single eye became wide. There was a moment of silence. Followed by a low chuckle. Then, Hua Cheng posed the question Xie Lian wanted to hear. "Gege, want to get married?"
Hualian reunite and rebuild Huangji Temple together, where they get married and eventually spend their wedding night—and the beginning of their eternal life—together.

Neither does he notice that he's being nudged backwards until the back of his knees hit the cool stonework of the table his husband had just finished settling into position. The look in Hua Cheng's eye was as mischievous as his grin, something that almost seemed to make the god more flustered. "What do you mean?"
San Lang’s hands rest on his waist, lifting him just enough to plop him down on the stone altar. "Just, if theres no statue to worship, couldn't I worship you?" His voice drops in a way that makes the god shiver.-
