Tommy Innit, known mostly as Red Thunder, the golden and beloved sidekick of Dream, has been doing his best to be the best he could ever be.
He'd been training under Dream's wing, and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better! Except-He's suddenly asked by the Sleepy Bois Inc (one of the best hero groups in the country, his idols) to join them on one of their missions, and he's almost screaming in joy. Almost.
But why do they keep insisting that Dream has been treating him wrong when the man had just wanted to make him better?

Summary
Techno wakes up to three texts on his phone.
The first and second are both from Phil. Kristin says hello!! is the first with an attached photo of the two of them. It’s cute, one of those poorly angled selfies only adults can take, but they both look so happy that Techno can’t even laugh at it. The second is an echo of the last thing Phil had told him before he left. Love you, kiddo. Sleep well.
The third text is the one that makes Techno’s heart stop for a moment in his chest.
It’s another unknown number, and all it says is, We need to talk to you.

Techno's family is not really his family anymore. Tommy's here anyway.[ this is on pause at least for now, i just lost steam and am taking a break! ]

Summary
Getting tricked into fighting a much more dangerous monster than he'd been hired for isn't unusual for Technoblade. If it were any normal kind of monster, he would recalibrate his plan to fit the new obstacle and overcome it, then he'd return to town and intimidate appropriate pay out of whatever sorry sod had thought they could trick him.
This, however, is not a normal monster, and now Technoblade's lost his vision. Sharp eyesight isn't all that makes a good Witcher, but he's never heard any tales of a blind Witcher before. Probably for a reason. Those Witcher who have come before him likely haven't been rescued by a child, either, and then subsequently become reliant on the little boy who wears bells on his wrists and laughs like the sun rises for him. He can ignore the strange occurrences that seem to keep popping up if it means Tommy can lead him to someone who can help him get his vision back.
If he comes to trust him along the way, then so what. He needs more friends.
