    Sokka sat up and brushed the grass off of himself. He blinked once he got a good glimpse of the man in front of him, he was instantly taken aback by how attractive he was. The man’s fair skin and dark hair resembled that of Izumi’s, so there was no mistaking that he was her father, but what caught Sokka’s attention the most was the man’s eyes. Sokka has never seen eyes that were pure golden in his entire life, but looking in the man's eyes was like looking in two golden drops of sunlight. Maybe the sun came out after all, Sokka heard himself think.

    A little parent au where Sokka panics and lies to Zuko telling him that Kya and Bumi are his children. Zuko finally made his first parent friend and wants to get to know him more (just as friends of course).
