“Huh.” Fatin said, continuing to stare.

Since winning the Hunger Games, Fatin has spent the last couple of years drowning out her traumas by indulging in vices whilst trying to do her best as a mentor for her District's tributes and looking out for her handful of friends.
She has no interest in love, but the most recent Victor from District 12 is doing her utmost to change that without even trying - that's not even to add that the rebellion is growing in strength and the spectacle of the 100th Annual Hunger Games is looming in the distance.

Summary
Lena put down her book, and curiously moved to the balustrade looking down onto the main floor of her room. She spotted the metal hook latched onto the downstairs window, and watched curiously as a hand appeared on the window sill before a head of blonde hair popped into sight.
Lena crossed her arms in amusement as the thief hauled themselves through the window, falling into a crumpled mess on the floor with a pained groan. The thief lifted their head, and got to their feet inspecting the room with a noticeable confused frown - clearly having expected jewels or valuables in the castle’s tallest tower.
“What the-” The thief began to murmur to themselves.
It was at this point that Lena intervened, or at least… her hair did.

“Ten months ago.” Lena snarled, her top lip curling cruelly as she leaned back slightly to discourage Kara from coming any closer. “Turning up a bit late aren’t we?”
“I-” Kara’s throat clenched and she blinked rapidly in confusion. “Why? Why did you leave?” Kara eventually gasped out, unable to bear not knowing why her heart had been torn in two.

“No,” Fatin seethed, “Zara is in love with Jenny. It’s obvious.”
There was a hush then, heavy and weighted and some minor gasps but Fatin didn’t check to see from whom - she was too busy trying to understand the emotions that flickered across Leah’s face lightning fast before settling on something eerily blank and inscrutable for the first time this entire conversation.
“You ship Zara and Jenny?” Leah whispered.
“Yes,” Fatin shrugged jerkily, feeling like she was missing something huge. “It’s not my fault you wrote them like that!”
