Finally, Kali has gathered enough to strike a resistance against the tyrannical king of Threnhelm. The King's loyal army spills out of the city gates. How many were left after the resistance's recruitment, she did not know, but she knew of one who was no longer with them. Her eyes glanced down the long line of their own army, searching for Tomas, but they could not spot that mop of curly brown. Her dark skin glistened with anxious sweat. A cry rang out. The King's army was charging. Kali let her own cry loose, drew her sword, and moved.
