Summary
Peter Parker was always destined to become Spider-Man, that much was given. However, fate decided to give him a break, and choose a different champion to take on the mantle. That doesn't mean that Peter couldn't help out in different ways. However, it's ultimately up to Jason Morgan to take the reigns, and hopefully do justice to the name Spider-Man. This is the story of a boy pushed into a world of heroes, gods and monsters, trying to keep a spark of hope through it all.
NOTE: This work is cancelled. I'm keeping this up as a way to remember what the original idea was, but the official rewrite is on my profile, titled 'The Tale of Argus'.

Glimmer finds a injured stranger in the Whispering Woods and everyone gets more then she bargained for.
Cannon Divergent Au starting around when the show does. (Catra is a few years older then canon for reference)
Fair amount of angst/regret/anxiety from Pov characters (Adora and Angella) and some, briefly described violence. Warnings for fair amount robot dehumanizing/other perspective from characters.
(Adora is written as autistic, since I'm not entirely sure I can write allistic main character).

Catra is an ordinary college freshman at Etheria University, when a "site visit" - in her opinion, just a field trip, really - goes terribly, terribly wrong and Catra's world is turned upside down permanently. Secrets from her past that she thought long dead may start rising from the grave if she's not careful.
