Summary
The bomb ticks down. John can't die like this, without telling Sherlock how he actually feels. Little does he know, Sherlock in his usual dramatic fashion, knows how to defuse the bomb and simply hasn't mentioned it. Things happen, feelings are revealed. Mrs. Hudson wish finally came true, Sherlock and John only need one bedroom.

A reimagining of the bomb scene in TEH and the consequences beyond. I did begin resurrecting characters in order to keep myself from getting bored.

Authors note: This is a mostly canon-compliant (AU-canon divergence) dual POV fic that begins in chapter 13 of ACOWAR and adds the single plot point of Azriel and Eris’ mating bond. It is told from a majority of Azriel and Eris’ POVs, with rare guest POVs from time to time. Lots of dialogue pulled from A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas, with added color, scenes, and character development, as well as minor characters, by me, the author.
This fic is currently ACTIVE and ongoing. Once it is complete, I do plan to move into ACOFAS, and eventually ACOSF as well, all as Azris retellings.
