Summary
“Kid…remember that documentary we watched on spiders the other day?”
Peter hums in agreement.
“When they, uh, when they’re pretty shaken up-” fearing for their lives, goes unsaid, “-they curl up, remember? They play dead, the death curl,” Tony explains, growing more and more certain as he talks.
“That’s what this is? How do we fix it? You said the threat was gone,” Peter asks, the trust he puts in Tony so apparent in his words.
“Well, I could always carry you back to the quinjet. I’m sure you’ll naturally just decompress on the way back,” Tony shrugs. He’s not entirely assured of his ability to support Peter’s weight at his age but he’ll grit his teeth and give it a go regardless. If not, he has a plethora of enhanced beings to choose from.
“You are not carrying me,” Peter says firmly.
Or: After a nasty shock in battle, Peter finds himself stuck curled up and has to calm himself down in order to regain mobility.

Summary
It’s midday on a Saturday and Peter is fighting zombies.
Well, not literal zombies but some sort of rogue lab experiment that resembles the monsters enough to earn them the nickname, despite Cap’s insistence over the comms that they, under no circumstances, call them that. Something about risking the press getting the wrong idea or something equally mind numbing. Either way, Peter’s calling them zombies and he’s got the majority of the team, including Tony who normally shuts down his antics, calling them zombies and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. So…there.
Or: Peter gets distracted mid battle and has to justify to Tony the fact that he got caught off guard by a guitar solo

If Bobby had to guess, tonight’s argument is because Dean has done something dumb like hide Sam’s toothbrush, just for the reaction factor, and Sam’s blowing up over it because the poor kid’s already unsettled enough after being dumped by his father.
He quickens his pace as things seem to escalate further with the shouts getting louder.
He mutters a curse under his breath as he jogs over to the spare bedroom door, a bedroom that has the boys’ names carved into the door because it’s theirs for as long as they want it. His hand is resting on the door handle, ready to swing it open when he finally realises that the shouts are only really coming from one person with brief, quieter interjections from the other.
His eyes widen as he identifies the source of the aggression.
Bobby’s not sure he’s ever heard Dean this angry. Not towards anyone. Definitely never towards Sam.

“What? No, no!” Peter says, scandalized. His pupils keep dilating and undialating rapidly and the whites of his eyes are red around the edges.
Tony pinches the bridge of his nose and heaves a breath, briefly wondering if this was his karma for prank-calling Clint last week. “Heroin?” he presses again. “Meth? I’ve OD'd on them all so there’s no point in trying to put any of it past me.”
“Je-Jesus, Mister Stark, I’m not on drugs!”
“Then what was it?”
Letting out a huff that’s more of a wheeze, Peter gives in. “The only thing I did was have a couple energy drinks this afternoon because the coffee wasn’t helping me stay awake. It’s–it’s midterms ‘n I got stuff to do.”
Or, Peter overdoses on caffeine and has a sensory overload

Below him, the kid coughs out, “Fifteen.”
“—Fifteen year old—”
Tony scrubs a hand across his face. “Don’t tell me he’s wearing a dorky shirt with a chemistry pun on it.”
Rhodey frowns. That was oddly specific. Glancing down, he looks at what little he can see of the kid’s shirt—which isn't much since there’s so much blood now, but what could be once called a cartoon joke is printed on it. “Um, yeah?”
“Son of a bitch.”Otherwise known as how Rhodey finds out about how old Peter is, and how badly he needs to beat Tony with a stick.
