It didn't feel slimy or unwarranted; rather, it felt as if he was trying to take her apart and digest her piece by piece just to get his fill. She felt his hunger, a predatory desire that sought to claim every inch of her being.
But she was not his for the taking. She would not go down without a fight. Her spirit was fierce, and she could feel the fire of defiance burning within her. She straightened her spine, meeting his gaze with a challenging glare, daring him to make a move. She was ready to defend herself, to stand her ground, and to ensure that he would learn the hard way that she was not prey to be consumed.

The tall masked man that you grew to know over time, head to toe in thick black tactical gear, fully covered mask except for the eye slit, had his arms crossed. Seeming like he was ready to leave.
With how long you’d been on the same team together, he was still a mystery.
Still, every time you looked his way, questions swirled in your mind. What made him enlist? Why the mask? Why the separation from everyone?
Even leading to taking a small peek at his file. It was all redacted anyway, so it didn’t matter.
