The interaction left him frozen, and Steve realized that his face must’ve been red, because when Robin finally came around the corner, she asked him why he looked like a tomato. He shook his head and refused to explain.
“Seems like you just met a certain someone,” Robin said speculatively, eyebrows raised.
Steve could not, would not satisfy her with an answer, so he simply walked to the break room and sat down, releasing a mortified groan into his hands.
Eddie thought he had a pretty face.
