Summary
He fails to notice the sound of somebody shuffling in their sleep. What he does notice, however, is the feeling of Naegi suddenly having his back pressed up against Byakuya's.
He freezes. The spot where their backs touch is uncomfortably hot. It isn't long before Byakuya's skin itches with the need to tear the blankets off and run away, but that thought has him gritting his teeth. He is a stubborn man. He considers it as one of his best qualities. However, there are some moments where his stubbornness would backfire horribly on him. Now is one of those times. No matter how hard he attempts to get irritated over the matter and simply move over, he doesn't.
He would never admit it to anyone, but he finds that he doesn't mind as much as he thinks he should. That is a dangerous thought to have, so he takes it and buries it deep within his mind. If he presses back against Naegi, well nobody would know, would they?

They sat there at the bar for a few moments of silence, before Hassan finally said, “So… you ever think about doing anything with all that hair of yours?”
Mikey’s face scrunched. “Do anything…?”
Hassan gave him a little half grin. “Yeah. Style it, wear it down?”
Mikey squinted at him. “Uh, I did style it.”
Hassan’s brows raised and he sipped his drink, but the message was clear. Throwing it into a ponytail was not styling it, apparently.
“Do you like, go out of your way to be offensive? Or does that come naturally?” Mikey growled.
Hassan gave Mikey a soft smile. “It’s just nice. It would look good around your shoulders.”
The words made Mikey freeze. Was this… was this flirting?

Mikey has a lot on his plate. A revolving door of big baddies and asserting himself as an adult being his main focus. Certainly not the quality of his hair that, for some reason, he started growing when he turned sixteen.
