Summary
This story is written from Hermione's POV. It is written in conversational English. Please accept the fact that it has an abundance of unnecessary, as Stephen King would call them, adverbs. It starts before she heads off to Hogwarts. I use ---s to create longer pauses than commas. Initially, the story will largely align with the canon. However, it will include original content and scenes. As it progresses, it will start wandering further and further away from the canon main line until it becomes an almost A/U story. The eventual ending will be well into the post-Hogwarts era.
Near the end, there will be a major twist that will bring the whole story into a different light--and set up the ultimate ending.
A note about ANGST. This story is an angst festival of sorts. The saying goes: To achieve and appreciate the highest high, you must first visit the lowest low. This story makes several dives into the depths of angsty despair. Some of the angst is purely for the characters. Some of it is to create angst for the reader. Work your way through it, and through some of the strangely explicit content. You will get your reward by the end.

Summary
Luna meets Dr Who while out walking along the Black Lake. After some discussions between her, The Doctor, Dumbledore, and her father, she decides to travel the Universe as The Doctor's companion. There, they travel through time and the Universe to many strange and interesting worlds. Eventually, they find themselves on a hill in Scotland in the year 989 A.D. They meet the Hogwarts Founders and a stranger who turns out to be the Celestial Toymaker. He draws them into games with the stakes being the founding of Hogwarts, the future of the Magical World, and their very own fate.

Summary
Note: A reliquary is a container made to hold, protect, and display sacred relics/objects. The relic in this story happens to be pure evil.
This is a first-person story, as told by hardboiled Auror Harry Potter. It is written in a style reminiscent of graphic detective writers such as Dashiell Hammett, Mickey Spillane, and Frank Miller, among others. It would translate into a 40s-50s film noir.
Harry is bored, in need of some action. It comes to him in the form of the story's femme fatale, Pansy Parkinson. She is desperate to find help locating an ancient relic purported to possess extremely dangerous evil powers. and for someone to save her from possible death at the hands of others seeking it. Harry reluctantly decides to help her. But before long, he realises he is involved in something far more dangerous than he signed on for.
For LOTR fans, the crossover comes in late, but is crucial to the resolution of the story, because the world of Harry Potter does not include demons. The closest thing to them is dementors. That means the story needs a little outside help. With the assistance of Hermione, a pair of wizards from LOTR are identified to enter the story and aid in the final resolution.

Summary
The series contains the central theme of the way the hearts of Hermione, Harry, Ron, and Ginny grow and join.
Story one is an adventure to find and dehex Hermione's parents after the war. They visit Romania, Japan, and Australia. One of the highlights is the visit to an Aboriginal witch doctor.
Story two is a prequel. It weaves through The Deathly Hallows as Ron and Hermione approach and reach their kiss. It is done as a prequel because the heart stuff makes more sense after you have read story one.
Story three is post-war and post-first story. Herpo the Foul (the guy who invented Horcruxes) comes back and is hunting Harry as part of an ancient vendetta. The heart theme climaxes here.
Story four involves Hermione's search for the truth about the fifth house of Hogwarts
Story five is a very short piece about Herpo's wand and wand lore according to Mr. Ollivander.- Words:

Each story has the same setup---Harry is lost, adrift, and depressed after losing Ginny. The end is Disney, the happily ever after. The inside of the stories is the meat. It is how did we get from Point A to Point B. None of the stories resemble any of the others. They are all very different tales.

Summary
Part One of the "Everyone Lies" series, originally posted on FFN. This series is a work in progress, total series projected to be seven books. In "Everyone Lies Awake", our story launches with Sirius Black falling through the Veil, and nine years later Hermione Granger doing the same, finding each other again in an alternate reality where Voldemort is still at large and things are much worse than they ever got in their home reality. Before Hermione and Sirius can make an attempt at getting home, they must first work together to defeat the Voldemort in this reality, as Hermione undergoes advanced training to unlock gifts she is only beginning to understand. This strange new reality includes such twists as a Hufflepuff Bellatrix Black, a Severus Snape who was Harry Potter's Godfather, and an Albus Dumbledore who abandoned the Wizarding World after he defeated Grindelwald. All of this and more await Hermione and Sirius in "Everyone Lies Awake".
Note: Sanctuary crossover elements are built into the story in a way that assumes reader has never seen Sanctuary. This story can be appreciated even without context having seen that show. Major crossover elements for Sanctuary don't come into play until book seven.
