Summary
Danny would like to say for the record that it was not his fault.
In fact, Danny would say that it was entirely Clockwork's fault. After all, he wouldn't even be in this situation if it wasn't for that cryptic time god.
But what was his fault was the fact that he kept helping.
He kept taking the cash from the assholes messing with the residents who lived in the area (and damn there were a lot of assholes near where he lived). He kept accepting their offers of food. So because of this new routine that kept him able to afford to rent out his shitty (and possibly illegal) apartment and the hunger pangs sufficiently satisfied, rumors grew.
tldr; after Clockwork dropped of Danny in Gotham he tries to make the best out of the situation which includes helping out some people. Except along the way that led to rumors that he was an up-and-coming crime boss. A rumor he was largely unaware of.

Kevin's stomach lurches into his throat with the conclusions he jumps to. "So, you’re gonna go back to the Nest?" He asks quietly. Slowly. Unsure how to feel about Neil putting himself in that situation again. He can't do that, right? He has other things to worry about now.
Neil hums disapprovingly. "Try again," He offers.
Kevin does. "You're... coming to Palmetto?"
The au where Kevin doesn't have full confidence in Andrew's ability to stand between him and his lurking demons after only spending a few months at Palmetto. But with the dangerous card itching to emerge from under his sleeve, does he really need to?

Summary
Tim's parents are going on another dig. And this is expected behavior, but Tim is getting lonely, so he comes to the really smart decision to demand his neighbors (the Wayne's) to let him stay there while his parents are away. He leaves out the fact that they're going to be gone for a bit longer than a weekend, and the Wayne's currently hate his guts.
Can healing happen? Can Tim grow a conscious? Is it possible for them to become family? 2/3 of these things happen within this fic.

Tim rolls bloodshot eyes, but smiles, seeming amused. “I love you Dick, but we all know I’m not really a Wayne. If anything, I’m a distant cousin at best. Not exactly close enough to be a part of family dinners.”
He says it casually, without an ounce of the bitterness or contempt one would expect from such a statement. As if it's a fact of the world that Dick should obviously be aware of.
He even has the audacity to then take a sip of his coffee while laughing at a tiny dog walking into a pole across the street.
What the fuck.
(Or, the Batfam becomes increasingly aware of the disconnect between Tim and them. Everyone panics.
Well, everyone except Tim. He’s just wondering why no one will let him finish his goddamn coffee.)
