Through a series of misfortunes and hijinks, she fids herself enlisting the help of a burly + butch barkeep/inn keep/taxi driver. Will she make it to her boyfriend in time? Or is there something else at work akin to luck or the lack of it that will lead her to new possibilities and a life without a plan?
It's just like the beloved romcom film Leap Year (2010) except if it was an original character AU. Don't worry, you don't have to know a thing about them (though if you leave interested, check out Her and I in the Light) there's only a few references sprinkled throughout. If you're a person of taste and want the movie with a butch/femme lesbian twist then that is EXACTLY what it was written for.

Summary
Glancing over, he saw Runaan leaning heavily against a tree, glaring at a healer while holding a hand to his side. A single, noticeable cut ran over his upper chest, just underneath his arm, bleeding and turning the right side of his uniform red. The gash had cut open the fabric there, revealing the wound and a bit of skin, another- smaller and definitely less deep- cut ran over his shoulder, but neither compared to the wound Runaan was covering with his hand. Though Ethari couldn't see the actual wound, he could tell the fabric was torn and stained red, and that Runaan's hand was also covered in blood. A lot of it. "He's hurt. Badly. The healer needs to take him in, you'll only want to make him stay more."

The newcomer's name was Ethari, and from the moment he saw him, Runaan knew that that man would be the end of him.And eventually, a few weeks later, Runaan finally builds up the courage to go speak to Ethari again. Little did he know, that would be the official beginning of a lot of new experiences, meetings and feelings.
