Situated after the reveal but Lex isn't really dead.
Kara is kidnapped and tortured by Lex Luthor after revealing her identity to Lena. Everyone thinks she's dead, but the CEO isn't convinced that her psychopathic brother killed Supergirl without humiliating her or making her suffer. So she convinces everyone to look for Lex and find Kara.
When she is found after a year, the Kryptonian will have to recover from the trauma and Lena will be at her side to help her. -

Summary

Upon first meetings, they establish a pretty positive relationship, until things start turning dangerous for the inhabitants of the city, and for Kara and Lena. It's up to them to figure out what's going on before it's too late.

Guess who its first victim is? Who else, but poor Emma Swan, who was so distracted by her bear claw, she didn't notice the strange man with a shrink ray until it was too late, and she was turned less than an inch tall, forced to battle against a horde of creepy crawlies now bigger than her.
It's quite a Hero's Journey to reach Regina, who is certainly less than sympathetic and all too eager to tease Emma about her bad luck with the latest villain in town.
