"Roy, this is stupid," Jason grumbles, yanking off his jacket and chucking it at the floor. Roy picks it up without missing a beat, putting it on the coat hanger where it belongs.
"No, Jason, this is necessary," Roy returns calmly. Jason wants to beat that patient expression off his face with a baseball bat. Or maybe a crowbar.
A growl builds low in his throat, and he pulls angrily at his chest harness.
"Calm the fuck down," Roy orders, Alpha command in his voice. Jason's growl quiets, then picks back up again twice as loud when Jason realizes Roy's affect on him. "And this is why you need to be on standby," Roy sighs.

It’s all playful, just part of their long-standing friendship, nothing to read into. But that doesn’t stop Jason from hating every second of it.

Summary

Summary

Except Jason has taken ‘flatter the owners’ to an extreme that Tim didn’t anticipate, and he’s almost shaking with this not-jealousy. He pins her with green eyes and wide pupils, smiles with his teeth like a terrier. All of his attention is placed squarely on her. He lets her whisper in his ear and toy with his necklace, breathe in the musk of his cologne. She steals his cigarette, his drink, blows smoke in his face just to tease him, and Jason watches her lips every time.
In which Jason gets a little too flirtatious on a mission, and Tim is absolutely not jealous.
