Summary
Zuko has an intensely sympathetic story and is a very sympathetic character. However, he also received far more grace from the narrative and the writers than any other villain and antagonist in ATLA or LoK. They took pains to present almost everything about him in about the most sympathetic possible way. This summary of Zuko's canon story is an effort to illustrate how people might imagine Zuko as a character if he, like Azula or the other antagonists, did not receive this grace and this sympathetic framing.
