OH MY GOSH THIS!! I was wondering whether anyone else thought the same about pipit's mom or if it was just me, but YEAH. seriously, this is too over-looked with pipit, and I'm glad it got an amazing fic for the subject!!
I honestly thought I was projecting, since my mom, in simple terms, is a hoarder. she is very much like mallara when it comes to spending everything and cluttering the house and then doing nothing about it even when the electric shuts off. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who sees mallara not being a good mom

“What?” the guy - Tango - rolled his eyes at Grian, shaking him off with a laugh. “Maybe it hasn’t been that long since Double Life, but forgive me if I’ve missed the guy. You get to see Scar every day. It’s not even–”
“Er, sorry, but–” Jimmy interrupted him, waiting until Tango’s focus was back on him before pulling on a polite smile and carrying on, “–who are you?”
OR: When the Hermits arrive on Empires, Tango remembers his soulmate...but Jimmy doesn't remember him back.

Tango has weird dreams where he talks to this sheriff character, who insists, in turn, that he is the one dreaming. Which made no sense! The Sheriff was just a voice inside his head. Wasn't he...? Still, it all felt strangely familiar, and he couldn't put his finger on why.
