Summary
He lost time again. He knows it, because he wakes up on the floor of his room, instead of somewhere sensible like his bed, or even the chair at his work desk. There are a few disorienting moments where he wonders how he got here. Why he's here.
He was having a beautiful dream. It was a dream of cool waters, and fields of endless grass, and someone, distant and smiling, and happy to see him.
Or: The last moments of Zedaph's helsmet before the Universe claims him.

Summary
It is a common misconception that, for a knight to be chivalrous, they must also be a genuinely nice and kind person. In reality, the Code of Chivalry in its many forms has only ever dictated that one must be principled, dutifully upholding the precepts of the code that is passed down to them.
A character study on Helsknight's views on Welsknight, through the lens of toxic chivalry.

Summary
There’s a saying: Character is what you are in the dark. Its meaning is simple. Anyone can be a hero when the world is watching. When the world isn’t, when you could get away with murder or mercy and it wouldn’t matter, when there is no one to point and judge… that matters. That is the measure of your humanity.
But what if what you are in the dark -- is nothing?

Summary
The Confession room for the followers of the Saint of Blood and Steel was exactly the same room they trained and dueled in. The only difference was, at a certain time of day, on two specific days of the week, there was a little white sign on the doors that said "Confession Open." There was almost always a line. Only one person was allowed in the confessional at a time. There was no law or order or rule that dictated everyone wait in silence, but there was something particularly humbling about standing in a line of armed and armored knights, all waiting patiently for god to slap them on the wrist.

Summary
When it comes to the whole Hermits vs helsmets thing, Welsknight can, nine times out of ten, say with confidence, he's the good guy. The Hermits are all, barring a few hiccups from time to time, objectively good people. Helmets are the opposites of Hermits. Ergo, helsmets are evil. And if he didn't have logic to prove this, he had Helsknight. Helsknight who, as soon as he had the wits to start making his own identity, immediately started orbiting Welsknight like the most destructive, malicious moon might tear up the atmosphere of a nearby planet. He was mean, vindictive, cruel, heartless, brutal, and worst of all, perfect. Perfect form with the sword, with his knightly duties and tenets, hels, even when their fights were more philosophical, he always seemed to have the perfect argument. There was something uniquely insufferable about fighting a perfect enemy. Grinding.
{This wasn't about Helsknight.}
Prompt from Tumblr:
paradiseshards asked:
Enemy caretaker, but Wels helping Tanguish this time!Maybe something along the lines of, Wels getting Tanguish to tell him what he sees in Helsknight in exchange for the help, if you’d like a slightly more specific prompt ^^

Summary
Tango crouched on a tangle of redstone lines, trying to figure out what had gone wrong. He liked fixing redstone. Redstone was kind. Straightforward. It either worked or it didn't. Forget some dust here, flip too many ticks on a repeater there, and it broke. Set it to order and everything was fine again. The challenge was only in figuring out where he'd gone wrong. Retracing his steps.

random thought, but i had a vivid image of, if helsknight and welsknight ever saw each other without armor (or just helsknight out of his armor tbh), helsknight showing welsknight the scar tanguish gave him and saying "this was intended for you." i don't know how in character that is, but tbh it's haunting me. maybe it's part of helsknight's revenge against welsknight or something, calling out his unknightly behavior and unhonorable conduct.Series
