Yujun’s voice had been so clear, taunting him. The dream isn’t too clear anymore, but he remembers the voices, the things they’d said, and the fear and hot, hot shame lingers. It’s scalding, white-hot, melting through his skin and searing his bones.
I am not anything like that. I am not a disappointment, he tries to repeat the mantra.
The words ring hollow. He could reach for his phone right now, call his mother for reassurance like he always does when the nightmares get bad, but what would he even say right now? I realized I have a crush on my best friend and colleague, so I’m losing my shit. Oh, and he hates me now, along with Seeun!
Hate, Yechan realizes, is a bit of a stretch, but it damn well feels like it.

It was only a given that men, forced into close proximity and withheld from releasing their pent up sexual frustrations, would ultimately turn to each other for help. And it wasn’t something they could really be blamed for, but rather the best optional outcome they could choose. This prevented any snitches, so long as it was never outright mentioned, rather merely alluded to or kept within the group. Plus, anything that transpired in the public eye could be placed under the guise of fan service. Simple, easy, helpful.
Maybe, in more ways than one, what this created was actually a beginning to an end, or an end to a beginning, rather than anything else.

Yujun cursed at his phone.
What was this bullshit? Despite being the mighty main character, Minjae couldn't save Yechan from dying? Seriously, this was ridiculous!
Yujun closed his eyes in frustration, letting the fatigue take over. There really wasn't anything he could do if the author decided to make stupid decisions.
After all, it wasn't like he had he the power to change anything...

Minjae scoffed, a smug smirk painting his expression.
"Who said anything about your brother? I'm interested in the reason Yechan seems to be getting better."
Yujun clenches his teeth as he watches Minjae approach Junmin. He quickly slides between them and blocks Minjae from getting any closer.
"Yujun...!"
"Hyung, I don't like how he looks at you."
Minjae lets out a laugh.
"So this is the kid Yechannie talks about..."

"... The spider is gone." Seungmin says stiffly.
Felix, Hyunjin, and Jisung collectively let out a long, relieved sigh.
"Thank God," Felix says, muscles visibly relaxing.
"No, you don't understand," Seungmin purses his lips, and emphasizes again. "The spider is gone. It disappeared, I couldn't kill it because I don't know where it went."
There's a prolonged ten-second pause where neither of them dares to move or breathe, before Jisung breaks the silence and says in a monotone voice.
"That's it, we are moving out. Throw the whole apartment away, fuck this." Jisung says decisively as he pushes away a terrified Felix off of him, and attempts to make a run to their front door before Seungmin grabs him by the collar of his shirt, almost choking him in the process, but successfully stopping him from running away.
Alternatively: The ups and downs of living with your boyfriend and your two best friends under the same roof. Chaos ensues, fights unveil, kitchens explode, and the four of them get closer than ever. (Spoiler: there's a lot of naked)
