His childish denial was only the last resistance before his eyes welled up and he stood up. He stumbled blindly toward his mother. Pen was already leaving her seat and kneeling down with her arms out to cuddle the baby.
“I know, I know. Come to mama,” she said, gathering up his tiny horsemanship dignity and kissing his red cheeks many times.

This story highlights them struggling to get pregnant in the future as well as reminiscing on their own histories with their mothers. But there is a happy ending in store for them.

The next day however, the day of the heatwave he saw Chen go over to Bradford and spin him around gently. They talked (he wasn’t sure about what- he wish he had super hearing so it wouldn’t seem creepy that he was snooping on them). He crept a little closer and heard Bradford say see you after shift and Chen smile sadly at him. She walked away giving him a glance as she walked away.
It was now after shift and Smitty was changing out. He rounded the corner from the men’s locker room and skidded to a stop. Chen was backed against the wall and Bradford was blocking her in. They hadn’t noticed him yet, but he was frozen where he stood. Chen was smiling at him gently. Bradford was muttering something like let’s go. Chen shook her head laughing and her eyes never wondering from his face. He leaned in to kiss her and that was Smitty’s cue to leave.

Angela sighed deeply as Tim leaned in closer to Lucy and said something that had her shoulders shaking. “I can’t take this any longer,” she took a sip of her coffee. Across the room, Lucy nudged Tim’s knee with her own. “This is like six seasons and a movie, level unresolved sexual tension that should have been resolved three seasons ago. They’re clearly going to end up together so why do we have to do this song and dance when they could just get together?”

There was a pause.
“It’s MJ.”
Tony was confused, but remained silent, not wanting to spook Peter before he said more. Had the pair broken up? If that were the case, why would Peter be worried about Tony being disappointed? He couldn’t see why anything to do with MJ would have Peter in such a state, unless…
“She’s pregnant,” Peter choked out.
Or, how will MJ and Peter deal with the prospect of becoming teen parents? For Peter, family means everything. But, what happens when MJ doesn't feel the same?
