V1 and V2 aren't robots, instead, are angels known as Vine and Vince that were supposed to be organ donors for the robotic models. But the robotic models never were actually produced and the two died before the V models could even be made.

The Councilor had said he had no more than a few hours; more than a day had passed. Though Gabriel could physically feel the power draining from him, death never came. Instead, he noted a strange gnawing in his stomach that grew by the hour, a foreign dryness to his mouth. Opening his groggy eyes, he peered down at the rippling water. His reflection was missing its halo and wings.
