Let me be perfectly clear: what you're about to read is a haphazard collection of short stories connected by what I'm generously calling a "plot" – in the same way that pub crawls are connected by the vague intention of reaching the next bar without falling into the canal.
Did I meticulously craft an overarching narrative worthy? Absolutely not. Did I, instead, string together a series of encounters between a paladin and a criminal that somehow keep ending up in compromising positions? Yep, I did.
Consider this collection the fantasy equivalent of fast food – not nutritionally complete, probably bad for you in large quantities, but satisfyingly indulgent when you've had a long day and just want to enjoy something without thinking too hard about the consequences.- Words:
