Summary
An expansion of “After School Special.” Kurt never burned down the cabin and Angela never investigated Dexter as the Bay Harbor Butcher or for the murder of Matt Caldwell, so Dexter and Harrison stay in Iron Lake to finish out Harrison’s high school education.
Following Kurt’s murder, Dexter and Harrison grow closer and farther apart over the following year, each fighting a private battle with the sick, perverted feelings they’ve developed for the other. Meanwhile, a certain someone has made his way towards Iron Lake after hearing that a prolific serial killer went missing after an ‘anonymous tip’ led the cops to his trophy storage. Feeling spurned by his younger brother, Brian sets his sights on Harrison and sets in motion a plan that will have them all on a collision course.

Summary
Tensions mount after a break-up with Gigi and increased security at the hotel in the wake of Ryan Foster's murder mean that Harrison and Dexter have been sharing a bed for weeks.
When Dexter's fantasies begin to overwhelm him, he decides to go after a man who drugs and rapes his victims before murdering them, only to get dosed, himself. Escaping the man who drugged him, he goes home. When the drugs begin to take effect, he knows that he should get away from his son--for Harrison's safety. He also knows that there's a lot he could blame on the drugs.
When Dexter come home drugged with an unknown substance one night, Harrison knows he should call an ambulance. He also knows this might be his only chance to be close to his dad in the way he craves.

Brian hadn’t set out to fuck the boy. He’d just wanted to get to know him, get to see him. He reasoned that he would tell Dexter he was here eventually—or that he would just find out. Staying away from his brother was difficult, but getting to know Harrison meant getting to know Dexter, in a way.
