And then there are too many eyes on him, on Taehyung, analysing him and he freezes, stuck in his spot. He should run. He could, in theory. Just bolt out of the door, away from this life and whatever he’s about to witness, keep his head down and go. It would be easy, he wouldn’t have an owner anymore, but even so, even that thought makes him nervous. He’s never not had one, he’s not quite sure what that certain type of freedom is.
“W-what…?” Taehyung whispers, his voice cracking a little. “But-“
“His name is Taehyung, he’s some sort of tiger hybrid, I never cared to find out what type, but just take him instead.” Sunghoon speaks so hurriedly that his words almost blend together, one constant stream of thought, like a noose wrapping around Taehyung’s neck.
“That’s funny,” Jimin doesn’t laugh, however. “You thinking I wasn’t going to take him anyway, that’s funny.”
or where Taehyung's owner owes Park Jimin a debt, a debt which ends up becoming quite liberating.

park jimin is a stripper at a high-end club in seoul. he spends the nights dancing around a pole, or right in front of guests in his private room. once, his peace gets disturbed by a handsome alpha. they talk, tease each other and can't seem to stop wanting to take their meetings to a new level. they end up sleeping with each other, at the club or in taehyung's penthouse apartment. they can't help how quickly feelings begin to develop between them and before they have the chance to explore the blossoming love, taehyung finds out jimin's secret. will they be able to continue seeing each other?

And then there is the ghost-pressure of a small hand on Taehyung’s shoulder, the faint scent of perfume and a voice whispering in his ear. “You finally came,” it says, relieved. Like a promise had been made that now has been fulfilled.
Taehyung tries not to gasp for air. He reaches up to rub at his throat, then at his chest where his heart beats quickly and painfully. The pressure of a hand on his shoulder stays though and Taehyung, just for a moment, isn’t sure it will ever truly leave.
(or: taehyung is haunted by a bride he doesn't remember taking and every time he visits the abandoned shrine he feels one step closer to death)
