Dj smiled and glanced at Superfish before staring back up at the ceiling.
“Can I ask you something, Fishface?”
Superfish snapped out of his third trance-like state of the day and replied immediately.
“Yes! anything..”
“Are you okay? I mean you’ve been acting kind of distant lately,” Dj sighed, “I know you’ve been staying up because of the potion but this is new from you.”
Superfish’s ears and face grew a light pink, He wasn’t used to people actually paying attention to his feelings. Most people on earth and Obscaria just saw him as an attractive face and nothing else.
“U-Uh well, Y-Yes i’m completely fine!!”
“Superfish..”

“I-I um” Superfish struggled to put his words together “You know I’m only here for the core! I’m not gonna stay around once I get that back.”
DJ rolled his eyes, he can’t believe he’s still using that excuse. “Oh cut the crap Superfish, I know you won’t be able to stop coming around once you get the core back! It’s not hard to tell you really do care about me, or even the other members of the occult club for that matter.”
OR:
DJ gets fed up with Superfish insisting everything he does is only "for the core" when it's obviously because he cares for him, like a whole lot.

Um so I was watching cys videos and then I came across one that showed the episode and how cys was in superfish, and that made me think, “hm, what if they go to the same school. I mean they have to given they’re in this episode. Yk what, this would make a great fic to add to my collection of unfinished fics.”
So yeah. Anyway I promise I will work on my other fics, it’s just I left my computer at my moms house and it has my draft for my main fic, and I haven’t had the time to update my star catcher one. So I might alternate between fics with this and star catcher and my other so yeah. Anyway hope yall enjoy this rollercoaster.Series
