Summary
Seonghwa hasn't had an easy life. Not easy at all.
It wasn't that his life had started bad, it's just it went from normal and nice to atypical and abysmal.
His history is dark and depressing, and that's why Ateez never, learned much about his life before he joined the company.
To be honest, it'd always been a ticking time bomb. Where one day they'd find out that their loving Seonghwa-hyung wasn't quite who they thought he was.
What would they do when they found out? He always thought. Would they hate him? Would they make sure to get him removed from the group? He never stopped worrying that the day they found out everything would change for the worse.
And oh, was he right.

If you ignore the fact that San is a CEO of a renowned technology company and a game live streamer with quite the following, he's just a normal(?) guy living comfortably (luxuriously) with his beloved cat Byeol.
And since there's already an unusual contrast about his choice of careers, it could also be worth mentioning that in his bland everydays, he also enjoys calling the house cleaning company. Weird? A little, but he loves talking to the lady who has been cleaning his apartment for a few years.
And just like any other day, he expects the lovely old lady to show up in his doorstep but only to be met with someone new– a lively and talkative one at that.
"–and I guess my mother wasn't lying when she said she's close with this one buff guy with sharp but handsome features but also has surprisingly cute eye smile and dimples. Her words, not mine, okay? But anyway, she's sick today so I'm covering for her. Will that answer your question? Oh, and by the way, I'm Wooyoung! Nice to meet you, San!”
