Miles Prower didn't care much for what he should and shouldn't know, or should or shouldn't be, because no fourteen year old should know even a quarter of the mechanical knowledge he had, and no fox should have twice the number of tails that he did. And he definitely shouldn't be old enough to not only help in war efforts, but be the only individual able to go toe-to-toe with the actual evil genius who was hell-bent on world domination.
And he definitely shouldn't have met this tiny blue hedgehog with a major attitude.

He then finds himself in his future self’s mind-palace and given power laced with their memories. Mikey wakes in a New York that resembles his own, populated by alternate versions of his family who smile, fight, and joke like the brothers he remembers.
But the memories in his head whisper a different story: Krang-tainted faces, altered motives, and a future that took everything from him. Haunted by visions that may not be real and armed with a power he doesn’t fully understand, Mikey must choose whether to trust the people before him or the trauma inside his head.
