Satoru points his wooden spoon at the omega's chest, nodding along with his maw full. “Ill weeds grow apace.”
“As long as you're aware,” Suguru agrees, but there is a little quirk on his lips that makes Satoru hopeful for the brightest of futures.
Suguru's village is shrinking. With every new moon, one of their girls is taken into the night, and with her goes a sliver of the people's sanity.
