Summary
Two wanderers drift into the tiny village of Joppa on the outskirts of the ruin-strewn land of Qud. What strange and terrible things await them there, deep down below the artifact-laden earth?
A narrative version of the early game, with some creative liberties, starring some characters I've played in the game. Offscreen goat death. Mild nudity and swearing. Occasional psychic violence. Awkward F/F flirting attempts.

Summary
Annaface Probelle, a former Putus Templar squire, taking her first steps away from a world of dogma and genocide and into the vertigo of freedom; Suir Softbeast, a chimera multiple-system at the end of her bloodsoaked adventures unable to find a place in the world that isn't tied with death. Together, they wander Qud, debating the ethics of violence, failing to escape their pasts, and possibly also kissing sometimes.

Summary
He needn't have worried. The small one was strong.
He sees the human many more times since then. It seems as if the herd doesn't venture out without it. He wonders if that one is the pack-leader. It seems logical, but humans are not always creatures of logic.
He forces back memories of that one, and continues to shadow the herd whenever it ventures out. He makes a habit of waiting in the small grouping of trees near the gate so as not to miss one of their outings. Eventually he learns to distinguish the small one from the others even before it takes to the air, and he feels proud of this accomplishment.
Months later, only hours after the humans had returned behind their walls, everything changes.
(In which Eren is not a human that can turn into a Titan, but a Titan that can turn into a human.)

Summary
Phil doesn’t go into the cities anymore. Once had been enough, and he doesn’t have a death wish.
He chooses only to watch them in the distance, or pass by them from time to time as he walks. The buildings loom in the distance, their once-shining rooftops now overgrown and dull with no one to take care of them. If you get close enough, you smell the stench of rot and death. It’s a smell you can never get out of your nose, discovered one night after the initial wave where Phil tried desperately to scrub out his nose, sticking cloth and then even fingers as far up as he could to try and wash the smell out of his sinuses. It didn’t work, and the smell has stayed with him since. He tries to look past it, look past the cities, and continue walking forward. That’s what he attributes his survival to, really. The ability to look past everything, stare the dead in the eyes, and still walk on after he’s shot them in the head. They were people once, but thinking about it too much makes his hands start to shake so Phil looks past it and walks on.
(SBI zombie apocalypse AU. sort of phil-centric, but not entirely!)
