Summary
Skye has spent her life surviving. Trust is a luxury she can’t afford—except when it comes to Isla, her soulmate, the one constant in her world. Every choice she makes is with Isla’s safety in mind. But Skye is more than just cautious; she’s broken. Years in the foster system and the brutal control of the Rising Tide left her shattered in ways she refuses to acknowledge. Instead, she hides behind a carefully crafted mask, one that convinces the world—and even herself—that she’s fine.
When SHIELD finally catches her, she’s given an ultimatum: walk away or step into their world. But this is more than just a mission or a search for answers. When Skye finally meets her romantic soulmate, her walls crumble in an instant, forcing her to face the pain she’s buried for so long. Can she rebuild herself from the wreckage of her past? Or will the truth about who she is and where she comes from destroy her completely? And most importantly can she find the strength to let others in far enough that she'll let them help her?

Summary
“What is your name?”
She groaned in frustration. “I told you, I don’t fucking know.” And wasn’t that even more frustrating? That she really didn’t know? Because she really didn’t.
The last thing she remembered is an intense headache, which still hadn’t dulled completely by the way, and then she remembered a few faces floating above her head, but none of them were clear and none of it made sense. And then she’d opened her eyes in this interrogation room.Or,
Skye wakes up with no memory of she is or how she got here. Luckily there are some (unexpected) people there to help her find out what happened, even if it leads them down a dangerous road.TW: mind the tags, y'all. There will be descriptions of blood and injuries and the 'regular' Red Room stuff. If it gets darker, I'll put in a warning in the chapter!
