He didn’t know what any of that meant. Before he could react the old man grabbed his hand and he startled. Nothing else was said as darkness took ahold of him, the next thing he knew his mind went blank and a sense of familiarity took hold.

I have recently come back to RWBY and fallen in love with it all over again; my latest muse? Bottom!Qrow Branwen...
Those familiar with my other works will know that I sometimes create "dumping grounds" to stash (or should that be trash) stories featuring my favourite character in variously ridiculous, strange and always "the bottom" ways.
Seriously, I have issues...

Summary
All Nora wants for Christmas, more than anything else in the world, is for her foster father to adopt her and make her his daughter for keeps. However, she knows that adoption is an expensive process, and concocts the idea to marry him off to someone rich.
Enter James Ironwood: rich, handsome, kind-hearted, rich, friendly, and most important of all, rich father to Qrow's newest student Penny. Penny is convinced that it's time for her father to start dating again, so she and Nora put their heads together to get their dads together.
And it almost seems to work, until hubris rears its ugly head- if the girls can't find a way to fix things, forget marriage- Nora might end up being sent to another home entirely!
