My own little interpretation of a few short months in the timeline of our favorite complicated and sad relationship. Intended to lead into the start of S1E2. Not exactly canon compliant but also not NOT canon compliant given what we know thus far. Sorry for being a sweater Vox truther.

Summary
Vincent Olcott gets home from the European front and wants nothing more than a shower and to curl up in bed with his beautiful fiancée, but he's rebuffed at the door and forced out on the street. Grappling with his demons, Vincent is forced to rebuild his life all over again.
Alastor Wiles is shot and ripped apart by dogs while disposing a body one evening in the muggy Louisiana summer. He doesn't expect to wake up, as one usually doesn't wake up from a bullet to the head. But awaken he does. It seems that even in undeath, a higher power is allowing Alastor to continue his righteous mission to eradicate the scoundrels and scum of the earth, and who is he to look a gift horse in the mouth?
Irregular updates, don't expect a schedule from me. All of arc 1 plotted out; half of it written.

Summary
Dean gives it all up for a chance to heal Castiel as both bleed out in an abandoned warehouse, surrounded by demon corpses. Things go awry when it isn't Michael who gets pulled into Dean's body, but Castiel. Their brief stint cohabiting a body ends up becoming a longer affair when they awake to find Castiel's vessel, Jimmy Novak, missing.

Dib, a scientist from the planet Irk, has been slacking on his research. With a lack of technological progression lately, the Tallest decide that they'll send the low-preforming scientist to Earth, where at best he will return with some much-needed volatile weaponry, and at worst he'll be blown to bits by the rogue invader who has been mysteriously radio silent for years.

Summary
Smoke pours out of the kitchen as Vox hurries out with a heaping pile of food blackened beyond all recognition. “You’ll have to tell me what you think. I tried a new seasoning!” Vox babbles happily using his claws to take a piece of what is presumably food and nibbling it. Alastor hums and pulls the serving dish to himself, taking a fair amount, resigned to the fact that he would be following this meal with something raw to get the taste out of his mouth.
“Maybe we should—” Charlie starts, her smile has slipped as she eyes the smoking breakfast. She picks up the fork and Alastor gives her a pleased nod.
Alastor spears a large piece, not bothering to cut it. It would probably turn to ash on his plate if he tried. He slips it into his mouth and swallows without chewing. He smacks his lips a few times to clear the taste before he turns to Vox with a smile. “It’s delicious as always dear. So delicious in fact that I expect everyone here will clean their plates.” Alastor hears audible gulps from around the table.
Or Alastor finds Vox and takes him home. Them becoming mates is purely happenstance. The rest of hell is simply along for the ride. It’ll be fine, provided they keep Vox out of the kitchen.

Summary
Alastor glances over as Vox turns a corner without indicating. “If you truly detest parties, dear, then you could stay home.”
It’s a little flat, and there’s that old stab of worry in Vox’s chest that he’s said or done something wrong without realising he has. It’s not like they don’t piss each other off on the regular. There’s been the whole initial rivalry when they’d first met- the mockery, the sneering. (Until they realised that they were perhaps feeling other things than hatred. Then they’d traded blood and pain for drinks and careful steps forwards. The marriage contract had been a headache. Overlords of their caliber didn’t just give shit away. There were always strings attached. They found a loophole, like always, and Vox still remembers getting it witnessed by Carmilla and Zestial, the only promises made being “no one else gets to kill you.”
Romantic enough, sure.)

Alastor treats this as an opportunity to get ahead (because Vox) while simultaneously having a panic attack (because Vox).
Meanwhile Vox has a week-long lovebombing fiesta
so you (The Reader) are getting two radically different perspectives for the price of one on a live demonstration of the snowball effect with a Cajun twist.
