Summary
Some might say that when Gojo and Getou first met (and were coherent enough to acknowledge the meeting) they got off on the wrong foot. In fact, that would be putting it lightly. If they were both supposed to be on the "right foot" when they met each other, or simply learned the other's name, you could propose one was on their arm and the other was on their ear.
They didn't properly learn each other's names until their third time seeing each other. The first time they met, yes, any bad blood held would be Gojo's fault. The second time they met, sure, it was most likely Getou's fault paired with comically poor timing. But the third time? Well, that's up for debate.
Unfortunately, as fate would have it, they couldn't package away that animosity and simply never see the person again. They were paired up as roommates.
Same dorm. Same space. Same air to breathe. For a whole year.
But hey, since we're already at an all time low, what else could possibly go wrong? (note: a lot).
OR
Three times. Three whole times, Gojo and Getou saw each other before properly learning each other's names.
What they did learn in those three times, however, was that they hated each other's fucking guts.
