Summary
Tim tries to keep a stable life. He really does.
He tries to keep a job, maintain his house, and take his medication—all regular things in a regular person’s life.
But sometimes that person wakes up with a busted leg, in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes that same someone befriends a neighbor, who disappears, and leaves behind a plethora of odd evidence of her stalking you and your old friends from college, and has notes about this channel called ‘Marble Hornets.’
Sometimes that person also gets a cat.
Or;
The series of Marble Hornets, rewritten, with a new ending, and a dreadful confirmation of who that third member of TTA is.

Barney isn't sure why he decided the best way to solve the problem of Dr. Kleiner being locked out of his office was to immediately head to the vents, but he's here now, and hey, he might even find something cool while he's crawling around.
It's only when he realizes he's not alone that he starts to have second thoughts.
(And only after he meets his fellow vent-crawler that he starts to think it was all worth it anyway.)
