Jason emerged from the bathroom clear eyed and minty breathed and headed straight towards the kitchen, having come up with a plan of attack (otherwise known as a-plan-to-not-embarrass-himself-more-than-necessary). He’d offer Dick some breakfast, make small talk, quicklyapologisefornearlykillinghim, and send him off with a sandwich or something for lunch. Alfred would be proud.
Sometimes all it took was a well timed painting.
