Summary
This AU explores how the Tianhuo catastrophe could have turned out differently if GMing the Fusang gene out of solarians was seriously considered as a solution to the crisis. With a method to purge Tianhuo from the solarians' DNA discovered, but Penglai irreversibly covered in infectious flowers, Yi's goal is to evacuate the solarians to the Pale Blue Planet and form an alliance with two roughly 15th century human societies of my own creation. It will be told primarily from the perspective of Heng, Yi, and a human OC of mine. It will also feature some altered Origin and Foundation Era lore. Good things will happen! But the horrors will persist :3

Yi thought death would finally reunite him with his sister, but it seems that the Great Tao had other plans, flinging him back to a point in time to possibly prevent the plague that stole her away along with the rest of the Solarian race, forcing him to become a stranger in his own life and in a new time. A savior who might inadvertently destroy everything he's trying to correct.

No matter how pressing his circumstances or strange her behavior, he couldn’t rid himself of the underlying sting of jealousy knowing that someone else got to see this tender, gentle side of his Warrior. Before he could so much as chide himself for the arrogant appellation, his thoughts were interrupted by her bright, ringing peals of laughter, and despite himself his heart still leapt at the sound.
“Oh my sweet scholar, did Lani not introduce herself to you?” The Exarch frowned, uncertain what she meant. The girl had given her name, it was true, but what that had to do with his question he was unsure. His confusion must have been evident on his face, because she grinned down at him as she continued. “Her name is A’lani. A’lani Raha. Love, you’re her father.”
