Summary
This is going to be a crossover AU between The Double/The Marriage of Di Daughter and The Pursuit of Jade/Chasing Jade. I will be making some changes to make this work, obviously, but the basic idea is that Ji Heng and Xie Zheng as cousins getting their revenge together and falling in love in the process. This will probably become a collection because I want to explore their childhood a bit as well.
Most of my research is from Wikipedia, ChinaKnowledge.de and various reddit or Tumblr posts I've come across by googling things. I was going to make a reference document on here but decided against. Feel free to (gently) correct anything egregiously wrong in the comments and I'll either cite my sources, explain my reasoning, or correct myself depending on the situation. Enjoy!

This AU explores how the Tianhuo catastrophe could have turned out differently if GMing the Fusang gene out of solarians was seriously considered as a solution to the crisis. With a method to purge Tianhuo from the solarians' DNA discovered, but Penglai irreversibly covered in infectious flowers, Yi's goal is to evacuate the solarians to the Pale Blue Planet and form an alliance with two roughly 15th century human societies of my own creation. It will be told primarily from the perspective of Heng, Yi, and a human OC of mine. It will also feature some altered Origin and Foundation Era lore. Good things will happen! But the horrors will persist :3

Her first life, she lived while not really living. Only thinking of how she could survive in her hellish day-to-day life.
In her second life she realized how constrained she was, and vowed to actually live this time around. She died young, alone, and caged in gold bars instead of barbed wire pulled tight until she bled.

Le premier chapitre est très... descriptif. Donc, vous pouvez passer le chapitre 1 si vous êtes sensible à la lecture de douleur physique ou d’humiliation ou si vous avez été vous-même harcelé. C’est totalement ok de skip, le chapitre 1 apporte plus de précision c’est le pdv du harcelé et vous fera détester plus Tachibana lolTachibana est un personnage antipathique au début de l’histoire et si vous n’arrivez pas à lui pardonner à la fin, c’est totalement normal parce qu’il ne peut pas encore se pardonner lui-même. Il ne vous blâmera pas en vrai. Même si j’aimerais qu’il se pardonne en tant qu’auteur psk je suis allée au fond de ses émotions et de sa conscience pour l'écrire, je ne peux pas le forcer, un personnage évolue par lui-même et mon rôle c’est juste de transcrire ce qu’il traverse.
