Summary
Asagiri Gen was a watcher, he always noticed the little things people did. Just the subtlest body movements of people didn't escape his notice. Senku was no different. Lately, Senku had been on the mentalist's radar more than usual.
Tinkering away in the lab sat the scientist, scribbling down blueprints for the Kingdom of Science's next project : A ship ! He's been working nonstop, as inspiration waits for no one ! Once Senku gets inspired by something, he immediately gets sucked in. The mentalist had been watching from afar for awhile, not wanting to disturb Senku's miraculous mind at work .. Still, curiosity tugged at him, and soon he found himself drifting toward the lab.

Summary
Senku pressed the heels of his palms against his eyes and took a deep breath, preparing himself.
After a moment he sat up, the throbbing in the back of his skull worsening in protest, and looked over to where he’d left the pencil.
It wasn’t there.
He hauled himself to his feet and moved to stand dumbfounded in front of his desk.
Sitting in the pencil pot was the pencil, still whole and mocking him.
Senku didn’t believe in magic or miracles or curses or whatever, but even he couldn’t deny this.
It would seem that somehow, against all common sense, he was stuck in a time loop.

"Calm down. Take deep breaths. You're hyperventilating", Senkuu let him sit on the floor and crouched next to him. And deep breaths he took. In and out. In and out. He wiped quickly the last of his tears away, suddenly embarrassed with his outburst. "And to answer your question", Senkuu continued like nothing had happened after he'd calmed down, which Gen appreciated, "Weeks, I'd say. Months. Depends on what you define as the beginning." Gen stared blankly ahead, not really seeing anything, not really even trying.
"You're white as a ghost. Are you okay? Wait, stupid question. Obviously you aren't. We have to clean those wounds of yours right now. Did you find anything useful?"
"...I found cereal?"
