Summary
Chan does seem surprisingly hale for someone who was passed out cold from blood loss less than a day ago. The patches of blue scales that dot his arms, face, and neck have returned to their usual iridescent glow, no longer lifeless and dull as they’d been the night before, and there’s a healthy level of color to his cheeks. If Felix didn’t know how bad he’d looked last night, he might never have guessed.
But Felix does know. He’d been the cause.
Felix is turned into a vampire against his will. Chan—his dragon-shifter roommate—offers to feed him while they find a way to turn Felix back.

Summary
Eddie leaves the 118. Two weeks later, Buck dies in a warehouse fire while Eddie and Chris watch the news coverage. That night, Eddie goes to bed, begging the universe for a second chance.
Eddie wakes up the next morning to find out that it's the day before he starts at the 118 - August 5th, 2018.

Buck dies and instead of letting Eddie mourn, the universe throws him three and a half years into the past to get it right this time.

Buck’s vision was starting to blur at the edges, a dark vignette creeping in like smoke. His hand fumbled for Eddie’s sleeve but didn’t quite make contact. He slumped further down, back pressing against the base of the table, trying to stay quiet. Trying not to make this worse.
His fingers came away from his chest, soaked in red.
No one had seen it yet.
And Buck couldn’t find the air to call out.

The 118 only meant to attend a gala—but by the end of the night, Buck was shot, and nothing was ever the same again.

Summary
Felix had expected Chan to be gentle in bed. Soft and caring, just like he always was with members whenever he wanted to show them that he cared. A pat on the back, a warm hug, his kind, encouraging words; they were all what made Chan, Chan. It’s just who he is as a person—a friendly older brother figure to seven crazy boys. Not that Felix didn’t think the man had needs, but when he pictured Chan having sex it was always so … vanilla.
