Summary
“Did you hear it?” asked Will a few moments later, startling Mike out of his thoughts.
“What?” he turned his head to his right, but Will wasn’t looking at him, he was staring ahead. “..the clock.” he shrugged his head slightly, looking down at his feet.
“No.” Mike lied. He did hear it faintly back at the MAC-Z, right before Vecna walked out of the gate, and he heard it even more faintly at the hospital, while he and Nancy were waiting on updates from the doctors about their parents. For just a second, he actually thought he could make out the shape of a grandfather clock, down the hallway in the distance. But he blamed it on his sleep deprivation then, and Will didn’t need to know about it now.

Summary
After the fight at the Mac-Z, Mike starts experiencing certain symptoms, leading them to discover that Vecna is after him.

" Will reaches out, hesitating, before resting his hand over Mike's wrist. Mike's fingers curl instinctively, and Will slides his hand closer. They're basically holding hands."That's not how this works," Will says. "You can't blame yourself for things you can not control."
Mike lets out a hollow laugh, "Maybe you're right."
They sit in silence for a moment, their hands still joined.
"Mike..."
"Hmm?" Mike hums, looking at Will.
"What you saw... do you think... was it Venca? Do you think he's coming for you like he did with Max?" Will looks Mike in the eyes, then looks down at their hands. "

Summary
A re-write of one of my old fics: No goodbye.
Why? Because I hated volume two that’s why (maybe I’m a bit dramatic but idc).
The fic originally took place only in the last episode of season four, but it will now bleed into season five too.
The premise of the fic is if the California crew was able to get to Hawkins before the final battle.

"No. No, that's not..what happened. We aren't being held hostage, Dustin."
Strangely enough, Mike found that he would rather be held hostage right now if that meant being held hostage with Will, as that was better than being without him.
He pushed the button down. "He's..he's gone. Will's gone."
"Gone?" Dustin repeated, sounding as stressed as Mike was right now. "What do you mean, gone?"
Mike stared at the tree, at the spot where the gate had been..
..."The Upside Down..it took him."
Losing Will was nothing new to Mike, happening more times than he'd be willing to admit, because really you shouldn't be losing a whole human being as often as Mike Wheeler lost Will Byers. Despite losing him once again and everything that came with it, Mike would rather die than leave him in the Upside Down. So what does Mike do? The most logical thing, of course.
He follows Will right into the hell that took him because he would follow Will anywhere.

Summary
On his first search to close the remaining gates Will chases a kidnapped Mike into the Upside Down.
Shutting the gates proves difficult when Will’s linked to the hivemind and refuses to tell anyone.
Will they be able to have a happy ending after fighting, miscommunication and near death?
